Airport sources said that the flight of a private airline was coming from Sharjah to Sialkot.
Sources said that the captain contacted the control tower and asked for permission to land at Multan airport but the baby was born before the plane landed.
Airport sources said that the child and mother were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan while the flight of private airline left for Sialkot.
According to airport sources, a woman named Gul Bano hails from Shikarpur. Both the newborn and her mother are healthy.
