Ahmad Nawaz, a student injured in the tragedy at Army Public School, received important honors. Ahmed Nawaz, 20, became president of the Oxford Student Union, which he also posted on Twitter.

SHARE TWEET SHARE EMAIL December 16, 2014 is one of the saddest days in Pakistan's history when terrorists entered a school and killed more than 140 people, mostly children. The entire nation mourned the loss for days. Fortunately, some children survived the attack and became an important source of inspiration. Ahmad Nawaz, one of the survivors of the tragedy, is now leading the Oxford Union. 

It may be recalled that Ahmed Nawaz, who was injured in the APS tragedy, had moved to UK seven years ago in 2014. His younger brother was martyred in the tragedy.
