April 22: The world's leading short video platform, TikTok, has removed more than 6.5 million videos in Pakistan, making it the third country in the world with the highest number of videos recorded between October 1, 2021 and December 30, 2021, Geo News reported on Friday. The report reflects the platform's ongoing commitment to earning trust by holding it accountable while working to be safe and welcoming. These efforts include encouraging authentic interactions throughout the comment area, safety reminders for authors, and strict adherence to broad community guidelines. 


Leading video app Tik Tok has removed 6.5 million videos from Tik Tok in Pakistan. According to a report by Community Guidelines Enforcement, Pakistan is the third largest country in the world where such a large number of tick talk videos were removed from October 1, 2021 to December 30, 2021. 

According to the report, Tik Tok deleted more than 65.63 million videos in Pakistan for violating community guidelines, while more than 89.794 million videos have been removed globally.


The deleted video included videos based on harassment, bullying, hate speech, violence and extremism.


According to the latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, 94.1% of videos were deleted within 24 hours of being posted due to a violation of the Community Guidelines, while 95.2% of videos were deleted before being reported by a user and 90.1% Percent videos were deleted before anyone could watch them.
